Art and design: a reinterpreted frontier

Today, with more than 150 items in its catalog and between five and seven new products each month, Diamantina & La Perla has established itself as a brand that transforms craftsmanship into contemporary designs.

Its pieces, described as a “boutique of jewelry for the home,” are striking for their impeccable aesthetics and their detailed and emotional creative process.

Founded by Susana, Daniela, and Marcela Mejía, together with a team of more than 30 Colombian artisans, Diamantina & La Perla has been a pioneer in transforming local knowledge into objects of aesthetic and functional value, designed for unique spaces.

Their work pays tribute to the country's art and cultural heritage, expressed in pieces that celebrate the beauty of natural materials, such as their iconic coconut fiber woven chairs.

The firm currently plans to open a boutique in Barranquilla and design a co-living space in Quinta Ladera (Medellín), reaffirming its innovative role in Colombian housing.

Its most recent collections reveal a predilection for wood and a tendency to exalt the earth element, keeping the spirit of craftsmanship alive within a contemporary design language.
